Your (Twenty) First Century Ride
The event takes place the Saturday before Labor Day each year. Whether you have ridden zero, one, or twenty one centuries (or anywhere in between) you can expect a great time. We aim for a 12mph average but have a strict no-drop policy. There will be plenty of stops for food and hydration. Feel free to ask for advice about riding a century or post advice for other century riders.

Rails-To-Trails of Wayne County
The greater Wayne County community is fortunate to have the County Line and Sippo Valley Trails as well as the Salt Creek Trail connector to the Holmes County Trail.

Ohio To Erie Trail
The Ohio to Erie Trail is a collection of multi-use trails that provide exercise and adventure to anyone who’s willing to leave the automobile behind. Bicyclists, equestrians, skaters, hikers, families with strollers, bird watchers, walkers and nature lovers are a common sight. In the winter, the trail becomes a snowshoe and cross-country ski path. And, for those with mobility impairments, construction designs call for full compliance with ADA guidelines so that everyone has the opportunity to explore the natural beauty of Ohio as the trail weaves its way across the state

Holmes County Rails-to-Trails
Labeled as the first Trail in the nation to accommodate Amish buggies, the unique and scenic Holmes County Trail now has 22- miles of its 29-mile trail open. Fredericksburg to Killbuck 15-miles are paved with an additional 7.5 miles from Glenmont to Brinkhaven recently paved as well.
One lane of the trail is paved with asphalt for biking, roller-blading, walking, running, and wheelchairs, while the adjoining buggy and equestrian trail is paved with “chip and seal” for horse-drawn vehicles and horseback riding. Upon completion of the 29-mile trail, Holmes and Knox county will consist of over 50-miles of uninterrupted trail giving trail goers one of the most unique recreational facilities in the Ohio to Erie Trail System through Ohio’s heartland.
The Trail is a great place to connect, and reconnect and become reoriented with nature. We need wild places of solitude at times. Not every county in this nation has a natural corridor of beauty 29-miles long cleaving its heartland and owned in common by all its residents. “Let those who championed the Holmes County Trail project be remembered for their courage, sacrifice, vision, generosity and impact on the lives of the generations that will follow us.”ption goes here
